Casa Chironi
Casa Chironi is a student accommodation project located in Turin with a capacity of 24 beds. Realized through the repurposing of an existing residential building, the project has been redesigned with a spatial organization, technical renovations, and enhanced energy performance suitable for contemporary student living. The project has been conceived in accordance with accessibility, efficiency, and sustainability criteria.
Piazza Chironi
Our project is located at Piazza Chironi 7, Turin, in a location integrated with the urban transport network. The area offers direct connections to the city center and university axis via GTT bus and tram lines, and provides short public transport access to the M1 metro line.
Thanks to this continuous transportation network, access to the surrounding academic centers, especially Politecnico di Torino, is quick and practical. The proximity of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes, a pharmacy, a gym, and health facilities makes the project both accessible and functional for students in terms of daily life.
Technological Transformation & Modernization
The building has undergone a comprehensive structural and technical renovation process. The load-bearing system has been reinforced, the mechanical and electrical infrastructure has been updated, and the interior layout has been reorganized according to student usage scenarios.
Improvements aimed at enhancing energy performance have upgraded the building's energy class, thereby supporting long-term operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

The Type 1 layout shown in this image is designed for four students living together in a shared living space. Each pair of students will share a bathroom.
The planning is organized to create a balanced relationship between private and shared living spaces. This typology offers a living model that supports both individual privacy and social interaction.

Bu görselde yer alan Type 2, iki öğrencinin birlikte yaşadığı, ortak bir yaşam alanına sahip plan tipidir. Her iki öğrenci bir banyoyu paylaşacak şekilde kurgulanmıştır.
Planlama; özel alan ile ortak yaşam alanı arasında dengeli bir ilişki kuracak şekilde organize edilmiştir. Bu tipoloji, hem bireysel mahremiyeti hem de sosyal etkileşimi destekleyen bir yaşam modeli sunar.
